LDEI San Diego Chapter is comprised of local women leaders who strive to create a supportive culture in our community to achieve excellence in careers related to food, beverage, hospitality, nutrition, food technology, food journalism and communications, art of the table, farming, and other fields related to these disciplines, in keeping with the Society’s mission. To do this, members of the LDEI San Diego Chapter provide leadership and educational opportunities, and host programs and philanthropic events throughout the year.

Becoming a member of LDEI, San Diego Chapter
Membership to Les Dames d’Escoffier is by invitation only. Each prospective member must be recommended and sponsored by active Dames who are currently in good standing in the San Diego chapter. The number of candidates accepted each year is limited.
To be eligible for consideration, potential candidates must be professional women of achievement who have been actively engaged for a minimum of five years in careers related to food, wine, and hospitality.
With the membership process held once per year in the spring, potential candidates who meet this criteria are encouraged to attend several of our events, as a guest of a Dame. Click here to see our upcoming events.
