Washoku – Japanese Cuisine and Table Etiquette

On May 14th Dame Mineko Takene Moreno provided members and guest with a lively and informative presentation on on the art of Japanese cuisine (washoku). Particpants also had the opportunity to practice the use of chopsticks on a variety of snacks ranging from slippery grapes and tricky wasabi peas to perfectly cut Matcha Sponge Cake. Many thanks to Dame Mineko for her time and preparation for this lovely event.
